Antoni Gaudi, famoso arquiteto espanhol e figura de destaque no modernismo catalão, com
suas obras revelam um estilo único e individual e estão principalmente na cidade de Barcelona.
Gaudí dedicou atenção aos detalhes mais íntimos de cada uma das suas obras, incorporando
nelas uma série de artesanatos que dominou: cerâmica, vitral, ferro forjado e
carpintaria. Introduziu novas técnicas no tratamento de materiais, como o
Trencadís, feito a partir de fragmentos cerâmicos. Esta galeria demonstra as
inspirações após a visita ao Parque Güell que deve o seu nome a Eusebi Güell, um
rico empresário apaixonado pelas obras de Gaudí e que foi seu principal patrono. O
parque foi inaugurado em 1922 e desde então se tornou uma das principais atrações
turísticas da cidade. Em 1984, foi declarado Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO.

devoted attention to the most intimate details of each of his works, incorporating
in them a series of crafts that he dominated: ceramics, stained glass, wrought iron and
carpentry. It introduced new techniques in the treatment of materials, such as
Trencadís, made based on ceramic fragments. This gallery demonstrates the inspirations
after the visit to Parque Güell owes its name to Eusebi Güell, a wealthy businessman in
love with the works of Gaudí and who was his main patron. The park was opened
in 1922 and has since become one of the main tourist attractions in the city. In 1984, it
was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
